Eucalyptus Honey

Amber color, particular and intense aroma, with notes of licorice and forest: Eucalyptus honey is one of the most popular Sardinian honeys and famous for its high quality. Organoleptic characteristics: it crystallizes spontaneously quite quickly giving rise to a compact mass, with fine or medium crystals, the color is from light to dark amber when it is liquid, grayish beige when it is crystallized. Moderately intense to the smell and taste and persistent in the mouth, it recalls the sensation of licorice toffee, cappuccino, malt. It pairs very well, by affinity, with aged cheeses, such as Fiore Sardo pecorino.
