Milk Thistle Honey

Thistle honey is undoubtedly one of the most famous Sardinian honeys.
The flavor is enveloping with a floral scent. It has an excellent sweetening power.
Organoleptic characteristics: crystallizes spontaneously a few months after harvesting, the color is from light to dark amber, with orange hues and often green fluorescence when it is liquid, from light beige to dark beige, with yellow or orange hues, when crystallized. The smell and aroma are of medium intensity, quite persistent in the mouth.
The taste: it is floral-fruity at the beginning, with a fresh vegetal note, then caramel and spicy.
