Milk Thistle Honey

The thistle honey It is one of the most famous of the monofloral honeys exclusively produced in Sardinia.

Its color ranges from light to dark amber, with orange hues and often a green fluorescence when liquid, and from light to dark beige, with yellow or orange hues, when crystallized. Its aroma and scent are medium-intense and quite persistent in the mouth. Its flavor is enveloping, with initial floral and fruity notes, followed by caramel and spicy notes.

It has an excellent sweetening power, to be used in desserts or with medium-aged cheeses
